“When Calls The Heart” Returns To TV Without Loughlin
Fox News has reported that the Hallmark Channel has officially fired Lori Loughlin from her television series “When Calls the Heart”, which airs on the network. Loughlin has been linked to the college admissions scandal which we reported on HERE.
The show returned to television this past week (on Sunday night) with a tw-night special event, without Loughlin. The writers explained the absence of her character “Abigail Stanton” by saying that she had gone to take care of her sick mother and would never be coming back.
Fans of the show have been worried about the show carrying on without her, since Loughlin played a major character. Producers have been silent on this issue for nearly two monthly, but communicate to fans this week with this quote:
“As you can imagine, everyone involved with ‘When Calls the Heart’ was surprised by these developments, so we hope you can forgive us for initially staying silent while we sorted through how to respond. With the full support of the network, we have gone on a creative hiatus to do some retooling on the remaining Season 6 episodes. That process has already begun. Hope Valley will return to your TV screens as soon as we can bring the episodes to you.”
Loughlin and her husband Giannulli have pleaded not guilty to all charges levied against them.
