Each TV series eventually comes to an end. Sometimes they know ahead of time, sometimes they just disappear. When they do know with enough notice, they can make a season finale. Which have been the best all-time?

Some of these were the largest audience draws, some were just very creative. Here is our list of the all-time top 10 TV series finales.

10 Game of Thrones - Still waiting for total viewers
9 Newhart - 30 million viewers
8 The Big Bang Theory - almost 18 million viewers
7 The Sopranos - 11.9 million viewers
6 The Fugitive - 78 million viewers
5 Friends - 52.5 million viewers
4 Seinfeld - 76.3 million viewers
3 Dallas - 33.3 million viewers
2 Cheers - 80.4 million viewers
1 M*A*S*H - 105.9 million viewers

Honorable Mentions
I Married Dora - a relatively short-lived series that ran on ABC for 13 episodes. Unlike the other shows that has big buildups to their finales, I Married Dora was canceled mid-season. They staged a scene where they could say goodbye to the audience.
