Judge Steven Watkins ordered Jussie Smollett case files to be unsealed Thursday.
Smollett asked that they be kept private, but the Judge said Jussie lost that right to privacy by repeatedly going on TV claiming his innocence.
Smollett had been charged with 16 counts of false statements to the Chicago Police Department. The charges were dropped in March and the Chicago Police Department has since sent Jussie the bill for all of their investigations.
The date that the public will see the case files is not set yet, but Jussie’s not in the clear yet.
