A new survey released by WalletHub ranked the best "staycation" cities across the country. The analysis looked at indicators of an active and wallet-friendly staycation. They also broke it down by recreation, food & entertainment, and rest & relaxation.
Tampa ranked 9th overall AND ranked 5th in the category of rest and relaxation. I believe that. There are so many great spas around and near Tampa. Our city also earned high honors in the food and entertainment category...7th.
St. Petersburg made the top portion of the list, coming in at 37th overall.
