Lauren Richards is one amazing Mom.
Richards lives in Rolling Oaks Estates in Hudson Florida. On May 25th, 2019 in the early morning hours she called 911 to say their was a strange person around her house she had never seen before. Richards told the 911 operator she didn't know which way he went and didn't know if she was safe or not. Shortly after that, her pet pig picked up a scent near the garage which alerted Richards to the fact that someone had closed her garage door, which is always open.
Richards, who had two young children in the house went to get her firearm and confronted the intruder in the garage. She held the intruder at gunpoint along with help from her neighbor until PD got there which was 26 minutes in total.
