Sarasota Car Thief Suspect Found Naked In A Chicken Coop In Upstate New York

We can’t even contain our “A Florida man” stories within state lines now. Police in New York were on the hunt for a 25 year old Sarasota man. Police say John Mehne stole an Audi A5 here in Florida. Channel 8 reports Mehne headed north but got into an accident with the vehicle near the Pennsylvania line. At that point, they say he jumped into a pickup truck and then later ran into the woods. Reports say he stopped at a few houses and killed a dog at one of them. He could run, but he couldn’t hide. After a 7 hour manhunt, cops found him… naked in a chicken coop.
