Sad News: Two giraffes were killed instantly when they were struck by lightning during a fast moving severe thunderstorm.
Lion County Safari in Wellington Florida say the staff if devastated by the loss of Lily and Jioni. The giraffes were killed in early May but the park waited to announce the deaths until the pathology reports came in.
