Madonna Isn’t A Fan Of Her Own Hits
Madonna discusses why hearing her own songs make her “cringe”…

Madonna recently had an in-depth interview with the New York Times in which she revealed quite a lot about herself and her music.
In one of the most surprising disclosures of the interview, Madonna confessed that she doesn't like hearing her own old hits. She said quote:
"If I’m in a car or I go into a restaurant, I’m out somewhere, and one of my songs starts playing, I just go, 'Ugh'. Probably because I’ve had to hear it five billion times already, and I want to escape that."
This is hard for us to imagine, being that those songs are classics that literally defined the lives of Gen Xers, Xennials, and Millennials.
She also discussed what it felt like having her last album, Rebel Heart, leaked months ahead of time and how she felt that hurt sales. She had this to say about that:
"There are no words to describe how devastated I was. It took me a while to recover, and put such a bad taste in my mouth that I wasn't really interested in making music. I felt raped."
Over all its a very interesting interview and a must read if you are a Madonna fan. You can read the full article titled Madonna At Sixty HERE.
