Jay Paul/Getty ImagesAfter a student died Tuesday, the Hillsborough County School District says all athletic activities are ceased, according to ABC Action News.
They will resume once 2 conditions are met. First, coaches must review a set of safety procedures. Then student athletes' records must be gone over to make sure they are ok to play.
The student that died was 14 year old Hezekiah Walters. He collapsed during a workout Tuesday. They say the conditioning included running and weight lifting. They estimate Walters was about 30 to 40 minutes into the workout.
