633 divers took over 1,600 pounds of trash and 60 pounds of fishing line out of the water on Deerfield Beach, Florida.

The cleanup was organized by Dixie Divers and Deerfield Beach Women’s Club. They found lead sinkers, bar bells, platic everything and even a boat ladder. Madeira Beach, Indian Rocks, St Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach all have underwater cleanup days especially  Green Gasparilla .

Green Gasparilla pulled 100 pounds of beads from the water this year.

We are officially World Record Holder for the Largest Underwater CleanUp. Thank you to our amazing 633 divers that came from all over the country to make break this record possible .
