If you’re drinking in a Treasure Island bar, you had better finish by midnight. Unless of course, the city council votes to extend that to 3 a.m. There are however some differing opinions.
The proposal to extend drinking hours to 3 a.m. is based on Treasure Island business owners losing money because nearby bars in other cities have the later hours.
On the other hand, others believe that keeping bars open later could mean more people driving under the influence.
The vote will take place o June 18th.
