Not to brag, but we're kind of awesome. We love Florida life. Sure we have to worry about gators, sinkholes and hurricanes. But there's a reason people don't move to Buffalo to retire. Our beaches are the best. Most surveys put Clearwater Beach on top. But what about beach TOWNS? Visiting the beach and living at the beach are two totally different things. Wallethub did a study to figure out which beach communities are the best based on livability. Things like cost of living, foreclosure rates, restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife were analyzed. Here is their Top 10 list:
1. Naples, Florida
2. Lahaina, Hawaii
3. Newport Beach, California
4. Carlsbad, California
5. Boca Raton, Florida
6. Sarasota, Florida
7. North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
8. Encinitas, California
9. Santa Monica, California
10. Venice, Florida
Other spots closer to home that made the list... Dunedin came in at #55 and Tarpon Springs landed at #68.
