Even being Q105's food guy, I've gotta say I've only been to one of the 3 spots they featured when The Extra Mile, a show on The Food Network, came to Tampa to shoot an episode. Some of the spots host Tyler Florence decided to hit up include Sacred Pepper in Tampa, Dr. BBQ in St. Pete, and Mazzaro's Italian Market in St. Pete. Mazzaro's is my home away from home. Can't disagree with Tyler Florence when he says Mazzaro's sandwiches rival the best in New York City. The Hot Italian is my gotta have. Dr. BBQ looks incredible. That'll be next on my to do list for sure. I've heard about Sacred Pepper... I'm just not a big sit down at a fancy table kinda guy.
