Here we go. It’s the time of the year we start keeping an eye on the tropics and forecasters are focused right now on some ugly weather that could head this way. The National Hurricane Center says it’s likely we’re going to see a Tropical Storm around Friday. They say the likelihood is 80%. If winds get up over 40MPH, it’ll get the name Tropical Storm Barry. They say it’s too early to tell how much of an impact, if any, it would have on Tampa weather. But spectrumlocalnews.com reports the Gulf coast could see up to 10 inches of rain next weekend. ABC Action News, however, says Tampa will likely not see a direct impact.
