Afternoons 2pm to 7pm

It’s so bad at three local beaches that The Department of Health in Pasco County has issued a water quality advisory, according to WTSP. Water samples turned up entercocci. Sounds like a pasta to me, but it’s not. It’s intestinal bacteria. This stuff can cause a rash, infection or worse disease. They say it could come from water runoff, wildlife or, yup, human sewage.

The 3 beaches we’re talking about:

  • Robert J. Strickland Beach in Hudson
  • Brasher Park Beach in Port Richey
  • Gulf Harbors Beach in New Port Richey
