Going out of business sales make you think of furniture outlets or department stores. But there are apparently a bunch of BOGOs you won't find at other Publix locations happening right now at the store in Temple Terrace. Why? They're closing. Not going out of business... just closing. They're tearing the whole thing down and building a new Publix. Creative Loafing says their last day will be Saturday and needless to say, "It's all gotta go!" But as you can imagine, they say stock is low on many items. So chances are you won't get all your shopping done, but there are probably some good bargains. The address is 5213 E. Fowler Ave. If you live nearby, there's another Publix just a block away on Fletcher.

7pm Update:
I just got a message on my Facebook page from a listener who dropped in tonight and said the sales were nothing special... and that an employee told her anything they don't sell will just be moved to a nearby location. So might not be worth your time. Can anyone confirm? Tweet @Q105Geno.
