Florida Girl Tossed In The Air By Charging Bison At Yellowstone Park
According to Yellowstone National Park Rangers, a bull bison charged a group of 50 tourists and tossed a 9 year old girl from Florida into the air.
The Bison charged the group after they tried to move closer within 5 to 10 feet of the big bull.
Thankfully, the 9 year old from Odessa, Florida was taken to Old Faithful Lodge for emergency treatment, she was transported to a clinic and then released.
Bison injuries are common in Yellowstone park. My family traveled to Yellowstone Park many times and there are signs warning you to stay away from Bison everywhere. Here a few videos of people who can’t read (just kidding) people who got to close.
Here’s the video taken by Hailey Dayton at Yellowstone.
This is a classic video views millions of time on YouTube of a tourist at Yellowstone Park who got thrown into a tree by a Bison.
Yellowstone Park Rangers are the first ones to admit that even though there are Don’t Approach Bison Signs everywhere in the park, Bison attacks are common.
