It was 2 years ago that we lost the beloved Snooty The Manatee at The South Florida Museum. The South Florida Museum has made lots of changes since the tragic death of Snooty. Snooty was born in captivity in 1948 and he was the oldest living manatee in captivity and loved for his sweet poses with his flippers on the side of the tank.
Snooty lived in Bradenton for 69 years and had a very popular birthday party every year.
We still miss you Snooty!
