If you have a Capital One card in your wallet, listen up. The financial giant has been hit by a massive data breach that exposed information about 100-million Americans as well as 6-million Canadians.
It looks like a hacker managed to snag 140,000 Social Security numbers, 80,000 bank account numbers, and personal information from credit card applications over the last 14 years.
The good news is that the person responsible has been arrested by the FBI.
Are you a Capital One customer and do you know if any of your info was part of this data breach? Have you ever had your personal information exposed due to a hack? What happened?
