I guess in some places, no good deed goes unpunished.
A 79-year-old has issued a jail sentence for feeding stray cats. Nancy Segula, who lives in Garfield Heights, Ohio where it’s illegal to feed stray cats.
Segula, who has been feeding stray cats, even though she’s been warned not to, could sit 10 days in jail.
“I’m sure people hear about the things that happen downtown in that jail. Not a lot of good things at all and they are going to let my 79-year-old mother go there?” her son Dave Pawlowski said.
Segula is expected to report to jail on August 11th, however, she’ll get a chance to argue her point before a judge beforehand.
