A pregnant Florida woman is suing American Airlines for what happened on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles in April, 2019.

Avigail Diveroli has severe anxiety and says she confirmed with the airline twice that her dog “Simba” could travel with her. Diveroli says once on the plane the attendant screamed at her, downgraded her ticket from business class and put the dog in the bathroom of the plane.

She looking for $75,000 in damages. The attendant then told her the dog can’t be in the cabin because it was against FAA rules. AA has not comment yet, but it states clearly in their Support Animal Policy, that dogs can be in the cabin.
