Captain Rob Gorta said it was an intense moment for sure. Gorta was fishing for tarpon off the Manatee coast when his client hooked a big tarpon. The tarpon was about 180 pounds, too big to lift out of the water. Gorta was trying to unhook the tarpon and did not see the dorsal fin headed straight for him. Captain Rob Gorta was wearing a GoPro when out of nowhere and huge hammerhead shark appeared and yanked the tarpon right out of his hands.
