REI outdoors announced Thursday that they will open a retail space in Midtown Tampa. REI will be located on North Dale Mabry Highway and will be the first retail store in Midtown to have a tower.
This REI store will open in 2021 and we can’t wait because it will cater to the Tampa lifestyle of outdoor living. This REI location will include a specialty bike shop for upgrades and repairs as well as a watercourse to try out your new kayak.
I’m not a shopper, but I could spend some quality time in an REI outdoor store checking out all the latest in outdoor adventure equiptment.
The New York developers are working hard to make Midtown a special destination with Whole Foods, True Food Kitchen, REI and more. This property has been 20 years in the making but it’s all coming together now.
