And worse, police suspect this was murder. Reports say Rays Double A affiliate pitcher Blake Bivens has lost his wife and their child according to an ESPN report. The tweet from ESPN reporter Jeff Passan indicates Bivens' wife's brother has been charged with first-degree homicide. 3 were killed and reports out of the area are that the third one killed was Blake's wife's mother. WRIC reports this happened at about 8AM this morning. Police found a woman dead in the driveway. Inside the home, they found the bodies of a second woman and the child. They say 18 year old Mathew Bernard was taken into custody about a mile away.

The team cancelled tonight's game, saying only that a "tragic event" had happened. We don't have any more information than that yet, but I'm sure more will be coming over the next few days. Just so awful. Tonight we send our love and prayers for Blake and his family.
