FDA ALERT: Clearwater Dog Food Company On Recall
The Dog Food Advisory and the FDA has sent out another dog food alert as of August 28th, 2019. And this time its very close to home.
Brutus & Barnaby is recalling all size variations of its Pig Ears for Dogs because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. Brutus & Barnaby is actually a privately held company here in Clearwater.
The company states that bags of the product (Pig Ears) were distributed throughout all the states via Brutusandbarnaby.com, Amazon, Chewy, and the local brick and mortar Natures Food Patch, 1225 Cleveland St,Clearwater, Florida.
This one could easily affect our local community due to the location of the manufacturer, and availability of the product at the local Nature’s Patch store. Others may have purchased them online.
If you think you have purchased this product, you are urged to destroy any remaining product not yet consumed. You can then contact the place of purchase for a full refund.
