The National Hurricane Center’s latest update has increased the possible strength of Hurricane Dorian.

Current winds remain at 85MPH. However, the storm is forecast to strengthen to become a major category 3 hurricane as it makes its way toward the Florida coast. The part of Florida that will be the point of landfall is still not clear, but the storm could carry 125 per hour winds when it arrives. The latest track has the center of the storm arriving Monday morning to Monday afternoon.

Tropical storm force winds could arrive in the Tampa Bay area as early as Sunday morning.
