Gatorland in Orlando was overwhelmed with questions about how they keep their alligators from swimming away during a hurricane.

Alligators don’t like barometric pressure changes and he explains how they dive deep into the bottom of the pond to ride out the storm returning to the surface only to get air.

Mark McHugh is the CEO of Gatorland in Orlando and he promises in his Facebook video that if you see a gator swimming down the street, it won’t be one of his. The staff at Gatorland plans to stay with the park during whatever storm hits them.
