Tampa Bay Lightning Announce Fan Fest and Free Public Skate Details

Hockey season is inching closer. The Tampa Bay Lightning have revealed their plans to kick the season off. Here's the plan:

Friday, September 13:
Family Fun Night starts at 6pm at Shparkman Wharf. There will be Lightning trivia, bubble hockey tournaments and social contests for Lightning prizes throughout the night. Get some yard signs, car magnets and other promotional items.

Saturday, September 14:
A free public skate at Amalie Arena from 1 to 6pm. Reserve a time by visiting the Lightning web site. There will be 45-minute sessions for fans to come skate where the Bolts play. Interested fans will need to claim their time slot and mobile ticket in advance by visiting the Lightning web site.

Sunday, September 15:
Meet Lightning players at Fan Fest. It's free but get a mobile ticket at the Lightning web site. There will be autograph and photo stations and alumni will be on hand too.
