We hope not, but ’tis the season. The next named storm will be…Humberto.

What are the latest developments and what could be the projected path? The NHC says that because of recent environmental conditions we could see conditions that are favorable for development of storms near the Bahamas and Florida as soon as later this week (which would be Humberto).

The good news is that Tropical Storm Gabrielle shouldn’t be a threat to Florida at all.
