All week we’ve kept an eye on that system headed toward Florida this weekend. The latest information is looking good for us. Just as Hurricane Dorian did, this storm seems to be pushing further east. ABC Action News’ Denis Phillips says the 8AM models of what will likely become “Humberto” are promising for us here in Tampa Bay.
TROPICS | 8 am update makes no changes to watches and warnings. Models shifting out toward the Atlantic and away from our area. Let's hope that trend continues. (I think it will) pic.twitter.com/97T4RxKZro— Denis Phillips (@DenisPhillips28) September 13, 2019
As we expected, models continue to push further to the East. At this point, U just don't see much impact for the Bay Area (Wind or rain) and only limited impacts on the East coast. Stay tuned for any changes later today. pic.twitter.com/N7Sn1IZ3ew— Denis Phillips (@DenisPhillips28) September 13, 2019
