Forecasters say it's still to early to know if this system will threaten Florida or other states in the U.S. But it's expected to take a path similar to the one Humberto took.
This is the time of year when we see more storms developing into hurricanes. It's peak season.
Looking at Jerry's forecast cone, it appears the storm will slink by the northeastern part of the Caribbean some time Friday.
