We always love catching up with William Thomas Jr. of the Improvement League in Plant City. Not only do we get to catch up with Wiliam, but also the lovely Karen Griggsby to find out about a wonderful food festival going on that will benefit the Improvement League. It's called A Taste of Laura Street.

A Taste of Laura Street in Plant City is taking place Saturday, September 21st and kicks off at 4 P.M. So much delicious food for attendees to taste and judge. Awards will be given out for Best Entrée, Best Side, Best Dessert Dish. Also, you can enjoy amazing music and the historical beauty of the former Laura Street African American Business District.

It's at the Plant City Bing Rooming House Museum on 205 Allen Street in Plant City.
