Orlando Officer Fired Following Arrest Of 6 And 8 Year Old Kids

Update: 5:45pm The Orlando Police Department has announced that Officer Dennis Turner has been fired.

Update: Officer Dennis Turner has been suspended during an internal investigation by the Orlando Police Department as to why he arrested a 6 and an 8 year old.  Department policy says the officer has to get approval from the commander to arrest someone under the age of 12 and that policy was not followed.

A Florida Grandmother was shocked to find out her 6 year old granddaughter was handcuffed and arrested at Emma Nixon Elementary Charter School for what sounds like a temper tantrum. According to Orlando PD, Kaia was arrested and handcuffed then transported to a juvenile detention center in Orlando.

Kaia's grandmother said she was fingerprinted, handcuffed and driven in the back of a police car for kicking another student.
