According to the Pasco County Sheriffs Office, the owner of Dade City's Wild Things was arrested over the weekend for fraud. The affidavit provided by Florida Department of Agriculture notes Kathryn Stearns took thousands of dollars meant to care for animals and put it in her personal bank account. It looks like it could be as much as $300,000 over two years. The case will go through the legal system now while Stearns bonded out of jail.
