The recent closure of a large breeding business called Trish’s All Breeds Pet Grooming in Tampa has caused a massive over crowding situation at the Pet Resource Center.

We had reported on the story here about how the county has removed some 340 small breed dogs from the unsafe breeder and awarded possession of the animals to the Pet Resource Center.

The addition of these dogs to an already over crowded shelter, has prompted an immediate urgency to find homes for the pets that are already at the center. The Pet Resource Center has announced that they will be waiving all fees associated with the adoption of a pet.

That could make this the perfect time to add an adorable, loving companion to your family and help out the community at the same time. The center desperately needs to find good homes for these dogs. To see some of the pets available for adoption you can click HERE.

The shelter is also in need of donations (of food, blankets, toys water etc.), to help cover costs associated with all the animals. For a more complete list of items needed, click HERE. If it's in your heart to make a monetary donation, you can do that by clicking HERE.

Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
