Major Retailers Unveil Plans To Close (Or Not) On Thanksgiving
Not every store is planning on staying open through Thanksgiving. There are plenty that are closed for the day and will allow their employees to enjoy the day off. Which major retail stores have announced their plans to be closed on Thanksgiving? (And which aren’t?)
Among the stores that won’t be open for business this year are Ace Hardware, BJ’s, Costco, Guitar Center, Hobby Lobby, Lowe’s, Marshalls, Petco, Sam’s Club, T.J. Maxx and True Value, according to BestBlackFriday.com.
While the website notes several major chains, including Target, Walmart, Macy’s, Sears and JCPenney, have not yet revealed their planned holiday hours, Best Buy, CVS and Walgreens have announced they will be open to Thanksgiving shoppers.
