She called the flight attendant and showed her the ticket. The flight attendant then asked the woman who was seated for her boarding pass. The woman said she threw her boarding pass away. The flight attendant then asked for her ID and said the woman showed her a picture of herself on her phone.
The woman was not scheduled to fly on this Delta flight so she was removed from the plane and all of the luggage needed to be scanned again so it was a major delay.
I can't imagine how she got on the flight in the first place. You have to show your boarding pass to enter the secured flight area and you have to show your ID and boarding pass at TSA. Then you have to show your boarding pass again to board the flight. This woman got on the Orlando flight with no ticket and no ID.
