How in the world could there be a correlation between allergies and...crime?!

Seasonal allergies can range from pesky to downright debilitating. A new study revealed that in sixteen cities, there is, on average, 4 percent less crime when the pollen count is high.

For example, comparing crime in New York City in April 2019 to 2018, it was noted crime was down 6.7 percent. And guess what! This was just when allergies were reaching a peak.

The crimes that appear to be most hindered by allergies and pollen are those of the more violent variety, i.e. murder, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault.

Who knew allergies and pollen had such a benefit? They have a demotivating affect on violent criminals.
