Daniel P. Greenwald has been working with Bayshore Plastic Surgery, though he had been piloting his own plane when he crashed.
He had used his license as a pilot to help people including by flying to Haiti in 2018 to help those in need following an earthquake.
The plane crash occurred just east of Kokomo, Indiana.
