I'm guessing it takes longer for you to get to work than 27 minuets one way.
That's the average national commute. And that's an all-time high, according to the U.S. Censue Bureau. Ten years ago the average was 25 minutes. May not sound like much of a difference but that adds up to an additional 20 minutes a week. And that brings a grand total of 17 extra hours a year.
I would imagine the average one way commute time around the Tampa Bay area is longer than 27 minutes.
