A Florida Man Dresses Like A Doctor To Escape From The Hospital
This one might make the “A Florida Man” Hall of Fame. Gotta hand it to 71 year old “Poppa” Jenkins. MacGyver would be proud. Jenkins was arrested on an outstanding warrant, according to MyPanhandle.com. The Fort Walton beach man said he was having chest pains so they took him to the hospital to get checked out.
When he was going to be released, he came up with idea of borrowing some blue medical scrubs and a stethoscope. He ran out of the ER. The plan wasn’t perfect. Cops got him and now he’s facing new charges of resisting arrest.
James "Poppa" Jenkins Jr. was arrested on a warrant for selling opiates. He complained of chest pain and was taken to a local hospital. He later emerged from his room dressed as a doctor, wearing blue scrubs and a stethoscope, and tried to run. The deputy wasn't fooled. #Fail ⭐️ pic.twitter.com/4D8OBwHhqX
