Love to visit far off places, but hate having to get there? Travel experts have some tips for making your long flights a little less miserable.

Seat selection is extremely important when you're in the air for hours on end. Book an aisle seat so you can more easily stretch your legs or even better, make the upgrade to the extra legroom seating.

Layer up with comfy clothes, wear two pairs of socks, and change out your shoes to something more breathable. A mid-flight teeth brushing apparently does wonders for your mood.

Wait until after takeoff before getting some shuteye and invest in a travel pillow. Also, keep hydrated.
