If you own a dog, a study shows there’s a good chance that will lower your risk of dying.

The study from the University of Toronto showed that owning a dog reduced the risk of death over a long term. Still doesn’t make sense? Well, here’s how they came to this conclusion.

Owning a dog was associated with lower blood pressure level, better cardiovascular health and responses to stress.

Okay, we’re not scientists here, but the study said if you own a dog, there’s a good chance you will lower your risk of dying earlier than those who don’t own dogs.
