So how did an award winning Ohio pumpkin end up in the Liggett’s yard in Dunedin? Bob and Jo Leggett grew the 1,421.5 pounder  and won the Grand Champion Award at Circleville, Ohio’s Giant Pumpkin Festival. They received a check for $1000 for first prize and them loaded the pumpkin up for a road trip south.

Now the pumpkin is on display through Halloween at the Liggett’s relatives house in Dunedin. Dan and Shonda Liggett, 1532 Santa Clara Drive. Enjoy!
