St. Petersburg’s Khalea Lynee Advances On The Voice
Tampa Bay’s own Khalea Lynee sang her lungs out on this week’s episode of The Voice on NBC, and it all paid off for her.
According to The Voice website, Khalea (a mother of two) actually lives in Clearwater, Florida… not St. Pete. But St. Pete is where Khalea was born.
Regardless, Khalea sang Celine Dion’s “Because You Love me” and knocked the socks off of the Judges and the in-studio audience. Khalea’s coach is John Legend, and he picked Khalea to be the one to move out of the Battle Rounds and advance to the Live (rounds where you and I will have the chance to vote).
