OK first off, no the monkeys were not wielding knives! But a niiiiice relaxing day on the river turned wild a few days ago for this guy on his kayak! Watch this video as all these wild monkeys jump from the trees into the water all around him. You hear splash after splash and see a few swim by. He whips his phone from left to right trying to capture it all. The creepy thing is Channel 8 reports some of these 300 wild monkeys at Silver Springs State Park have a rare form herpes that could be dangerous to humans! They think the population might double in the next five years.
