According to WFLA, the Lyft driver who picked up a St. Pete man’s puppy when he saw the dog in the street, will not be charged. St Petersburg police located the driver, but the driver told them the dog was dirty and he tried to move him into the back hatch and the dog escaped. Jason Gell says he misses his baby,his buddy and he is now offering a $1000 reward. Gell said he hasn’t slept for 4 days and he needs to find Mahi, because Mahi needs a special diet. He said just give me my dog back, he doesn’t care about charges, he just wants Mahi home.
