A new study was put out by WalletHub about the best cities for veterans to reside in. Proud to say Tampa was named the best city for veterans to live in the U.S.

We've got a population in the United States of 19.2 million veterans. As many as 38,000 endure homelessness. Finding the right city to live in can make all the difference in the world.

Factors that were used for ranking included: livability, affordability, and veteran-friendliness.

Tampa earned the top spot with 72.44 points out of 100. We scored well with quality of life. We've got good veteran job fairs and veteran income. But Tampa needs to improve in the "veteran housing affordability" category.

Here is the list of the top ten:

Tampa, FL
Austin, TX
Orlando, FL
Raleigh, NC
Scottsdale, AZ
Colorado Springs, CO
Virginia Beach, VA
Gilbert, AZ
Petersburg, FL
Jacksonville, FL
