Tampa Bay Marching Band Chosen For Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is coming soon! It's only a week-and-a-half away, and the Tampa Bay area will be represented this year by a local marching band.

News Channel 8 tells us the "Second Time Arounders" are making their second trip to New York for Thanksgiving.

Some of the 440 members went in 2008.

The marching band is made up of musicians who performed in high school or college band.

Nine bands were chosen from 120 applicants.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be shown on News Channel 8.
