Tampa Nightclub Shooting Leaves One Dead

According to ABC Action News, a shooting occurred at the Aqua Lounge on Waters Avenue, (just west of Dale Mabry Highway) sometime around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports to ABC28 that just after closing time, security guards tried to break up a fight in the parking lot outside of the Aqua Lounge. A scuffle broke out and one individual did display a firearm. The club's security guards attempted to break up the fight and during the scuffle, one of the club's security guard shot someone. The victim (shot in the upper body) was transported to St. Joe's Main, where he later died.
Hillsborough Deputies are currently investigating the incident, interviewing several people. Deputies say say everyone they've interviewed so far has cooperated in the investigation.
The police say this nightclub has just recently opened and that they didn't know of any issues or previous problems. At this time there are no arrest. More details will be released as this story unfolds.
